Hey guys,
I'm late to the party with my Xterra - Life got in the way for a little bit but building it and having some fun are back on the radar. Anyways I have a mostly stock 2004 X, I spent last weekend putting in a timing belt (109k on the clock) and will be doing sea foam, plugs, wires, rotor and cap, and new filters and fluids all around in the next month. Once its road worthy again the real fun begins.
I'd like to do a 3in lift, with ALCAN leaf packs and new Torsion Bars. For shocks I was looking at bilstien 5100s - that's what I had on my old jeep when I liked the ride the best, but I wanted to know if there was a better shock for the Xterra (OME maybe)?
Also - I have searched and not found much - what are you guys doing for dual battery setups? Locate under the hood? somewhere else?
