Oh you were probably banging your head on the steering wheel "DAMNIT SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE AGGRESSIVE TIRES" lol

I've been out there a few times, but never with my truck. More than likely once all this madness is over with I'll head up to the arctic circle for a trip. My options are extremely limited as far heading that way permanently.

Aah. Nothing wrong with a trip! I still have not run up the Dalton. I want to! I’ve done plenty of oilfield work up there but always flew.

As for my tires...we’ll since I run mostly highway I was trying to end the summer with that set (they had ~50K on them). Took a massive rock through the tread on the way home and switched into a set of Bridgestone A/T Revo 3s. I also run Blizzaks in the winter on another set of wheels. She gets very limited true off road time. Really no place to do that with a full size rig up here.

I must have good tires to attempt to avoid these beasts! I had lots of time to slow down because of my lights, plus this stretch of road is terrible at anything much over 55-60 MPH.

Hey all,

I figured I'd post my first post on here. 2011 with 5.0 and we've got 210k on the clock.

The first three pictures are iteration 2.5 and the second three are 2,0. I got tired of the rack basket and made it just a platform. Added traction boards and a permanent mounted box with recovery gear, air compressor, and boards to fit under stock jack to lift truck for tire change.

Have Radflo 2.5 extended travel suspension all around. Dirt King UCAs and a add a leaf in the back to help with the extra weight and to keep rear shock from bottoming out due to extended travel. Method 17s with 34" BFG ko2s.

Have the decked system with an Iceco fridge in the back with spare batter with a charge relay up front for charging.

3.0 will happen next month with a Gobi rack with lights going over the cab and a hidden winch up front.

We've been to the SE, NE, sTX, out west. Next big trip is to the NW and whatever in between there and Louisiana. Hope one day we can make it through Canada to Tuk for an Arctic swim and onward to Alaska.
