I fondly remember ripping up the cinder cone hills in Northern Arizona many years ago in a VW dune buggy, kinda looked like this:
Eventually, somehow decided to beef these up and came up with the Meyer’s Manx:
Now, we just might be able to get one of these fun little sand blasters in a 240 HP EV version!
Plans call for the current configuration to weigh @ 1600 lbs (@ 400 pounds more than an original Manx). It would have 180 kw, or 240 hp, be mid engine and would have a range of 200 miles.
They plan to running prototypes by next year. Sounds like something really fun to look forward to…
