HillbillyE, looks like a fun time.
Haven't been out snow wheelin this year, unless you
count the 17" we got in the cities in Dec. and the chaos
at the apartment complex I work at. At least 50 cars stuck
everywhere in every parking lots. Ended up just making
my own roads across the grass.
We should meet up some time this spring/summer.
Really need to get some upnorth exploring time in this
year, I have a family cabin on Tom lake and would like
to find some other MM roads like the old Tom rd.
Hopefully we'll be able to start cutting trails in the Virginia
expansion site this spring too.

Tom Lake, as in the one off of Irish Creek road? (well, you take Irish Creek to Tom Lake rd)
Awsome area!! Been bird hunting that area for over 30 years!
I have ran the MM section of Tom Lake rd twice, Came in from Tower Rd in my 4Runner about 14 years ago, and went through from Tom Lake end with my CJ and M416 4 years ago. Luckily, the beaver ponds were down!:snorkel:
I'm hoping the Virginia expansion gets going this year! And the Mesabi Mountain Trail may open this year!

Steve with his 'Traveling trophies'-He took first in both the 'road course' and the 'drags'
Diggin holes-I slid off the track in one of the turns:
Broke an axle while playing between the road course and the ice drags:
I did take second place in both the drags and road course:victory:
My 'Trophy':
All in all a great day, temp was around 20*F and the wind was light.
