Ram 5500 super single options

Same thing for Bob the extraction wrecker truck dude from Moab. I've seen him twice turning youtube #vanlife sprinter folks from horizontal to vertical in So Utah with his hammered Chev 3500 square body dually. Amazing where that thing goes. I'm also assuming the thousands of oil field trucks in the west are pretty much proof in the pudding.

Dually trucks have their place. And I have a chuckle every time I see a pimped out "expo" truck on super singles....
As has been touched on in this thread, they are not without their downsides.
Personally, the downsides are enough that I pushed the envelope with my camper build to squeeze onto a truck running LT's

Back to dually trucks, Id say the VAST majority of people in the position of considering super singles would be better of in the long run staying with the dually.

My reasoning to stay with a SRW has everything to do with foul weather, loaded or unloaded.
In either situation on ice and snow, a SRW will have the advantage more often than not.
The only catch is that you must watch your weights much closer. ;)
