MPT 81 is made in a 275/80/20 which is a 38x11.5 I believe.

Its very close to a 38.
20 inch wheel plus 8.66 sidewall height x 2 = 37.3 inches.
Considering that almost every tire branded as a 37 is actually around 36.5 on average and likewise, almost every tire branded as a 38 is actually around 37.7 on average I would be comfortable saying its a 38. Great news is, a 37.3 inch tall tire that is only 11 inches wide when mounted on the correct offset wheel will allow you to not have to get out the sheet metal saw or spend a bunch of money moving the suspension forward to clear Cab sheet metal. It would also allow a person to spend their extra money on a high quality suspension instead of the compromise known as AEV Dual Sport with the 37 -40 conversion (a simple 1/2" spacer)...

Ravenmad, how are you liking the tires. I have thought about the nitto trail grappler in 37x11.5-20 (36.77x11.4-20)at 80lbs but the Conti 81 in 275/80R-20 (37.4x10.4-20) 84lbs. These will be used on a 2500 mega cab CTD that tows a 10,000lb toy hauler. Just trying to figure out the best for longevity.

Well, I am biased, however I think its a simple comparison. I would have to look at the weaknesses of the two tires, and for as much as I like the Conti. tires I think the Nitto would serve you better. For me, my truck is built primarily for off-road / overland use with the ability to tow and cruise down the highway within its limitations (top speed), although, it has no issues cruising at 70 mph. I don't drive fast anyways and if Im towing I won't go over 70 mph anyways.
Conti. - Noisy on the road, you need to rotate more often, limited max speed.
Nitro - Is not as good off-road as the Conti. (puncture resistance and overall durability) but still offers good traction.
Heat kills tires, so does a bad alignment and aggressive driving on and off road. With all that, I think (and its only an educated guess) that the Nitto will last longer than the Conti. for the type of use you have described. Im actually considering a set of 40 inch Nitto's for around town, drive on long "road" trip tires as well.

I’m not so sure. Those Contis are designed to take far heavier loads and are a much higher ply tire than the Nittos.
For longevity alone, I think the Conti would last longer on a 2500.

Well, truck gets dropped off in the morning for graphics. Base color (sand) matches the wheels with mat Black and Orange. It will also be getting a decal on the hood that follows the body line in the center back to the windshield with a thin Black and Orange outline. The file they sent me as a preview is to large to upload so I guess you have to wait for photos tomorrow.

You are absolutely correct. Its not done, the color can't be matched perfectly
Sooooo, after they spent 4 hours messing with it they decided to call me and get my opinion... Sad, the wheels change color and the wrap does not. So, I had to settle for a "close" match that is slightly (1%) on the olive / green side. Should be done tomorrow mid day. SORRY
