My rolling restauration project
1980 Series III 109.

need to do:
replace rear chassis outriggers for springs
improve breaking (already fitted Hella UP28 vacuum pump)
replace master clutch cilinder (and will do slave in while at it).
some rewireing and removal of electrical birdsnests
fix/replace rotten door top halves
new seats
.... and way more ...

latest issue is that in LOW the front shaft doesn't always engage (it does in 4H it seems)

Just picked up another Rover...1997 P38 Vitesse

My last rover was a nicely modded D2 and I've missed it since I sold it. Just added a 1997 P38 Vitesse to my fleet. The car needs a full respray- doesn't have a matching panel anywhere. No accident history and its seems to be in good mechanical shape. Not quite sure what the plan is for the vehicle. Are they worth anything these days? vitessetailgate.jpg vitessepassenger.jpg

Went for a break last week up the highlands. Light bar got a work out on the long empty roads. Was handy for spotting a deer that made a last second dash across the road. Brake upgrade saves the front day.

First picture is Glen Etive, that spot is where Bond and M stand next to the DB5 in Skyfall.

Cracking pictures & thought one looked familiar from the Bond film.

SW Scotland (family area) have similiar scenery in the Ayreshire & D&G region.

Great pics, I pop up to the Highlands when I can, went to Mull last year, then did the balach na ba and Plockton etc a couple of years ago (loads of pics in my album, linked below) . Thanks for highlighting the Skyfall road. I wondered where it was, though never googled it !
