Coming down Long Canyon with my D1 near Moab, Utah with Jeeper friends on Nov. 13.

Long story short, I had some axle issues...then other issues once I got in there...then found some more fun stuff...then didn't want to talk about it for about three weeks...but finally got it buttoned up yesterday. Took it out for about 100 miles today (nothing special, just highway cruising) and I think all is well .

Oh and I fixed the windshield wipers. I can tell you that is quite nice.

It snowed on Mt Charleston so I decided to go play in it. Stuff was SUPER slick.

'97 D1 5 speed. Owned since new, but now only used for desert overlanding. 4" lift with Rovertym arms. 7100 Bilsteins short body in the rear. LTR01 OME land cruiser shocks up front. Front dislocation cones. ARBs with GBR 4:10s, axles and CVs.

It dwarfs my latest desert rig project, a M422A1 heavily customized with a VW 1.9 turbo diesel, 5 speed, 5:33s and coilover independent suspension F&R.
