Anymore Idaho trips planned?

Jason, we are thinking about next year. This year is a HS graduation, then a Parris Island trip for that graduation, followed by our 20th anniversary, so we are not going out of town this year. I'll let you know when plans are in place.

Delores Triangle, Utah on May 19, 2012

My wife and I wheeled all over the Delores Triangle in eastern Utah on Saturday May 19 with our 97 Disco. Easy trails to 4x4 rocky trails in this incredibly scenic and isolated area between the Colorado and Delores Rivers with numerous great river overlooks plus great views of the La Sal Mountains to our south.

A few more May 19 Delores Triangle Disco photos. Stunningly scenic area. Bone dry in this drought year but still a few nice wildflowers in places. Saw 3 Peregrine falcons in the deep canyon areas. Delores and Colorado River flows are very low. Very little snow melt runoff.

I was busy (in the D90) and didn't get chance to take any pictures so thanks to Flagster here on the forum for this cool pic.

That's my D90 'rescuing' my 96 D1 during one of the staged rollovers at the Overland Expo Rolled Vehicle demo.

Went to Pismo Beach (Oceano Dunes SVRA) with a bunch of people from SCLR and NCLR last weekend. Had a good mix of trucks ranging from a couple of D90's, an RRC, Disco 1 & 2's, a P38, couple of LR3's and new Range Rovers.

Had a good time overall and got to meet some great people from the NCLR club and see some familiar and new faces from the SCLR club. Only breakdown within the group was the black ST D90 and it ended up being the clip that holds the shifter cable to the top of the shifter knob came loose so he couldnt get it out of 1st. Once we figured out what the problem was It was fixed and back on the road in no time.
