LOVE THAT WILLYS!!! Beautiful man. Keep us posted on the wagon! Super cool, thanks for sharing.

That 'manche is sweet too. I too would like to know more about what's on the back.

Thanks! When I get started on the wagon, I"ll make sure to post up a build thread.

I will admit, I don't overland in this thing... but it does get dirty and I do drive it.

And this is my next project I hope to get started on soon. This will be a resto-mod and get an LS swap. Already have the motor, just need time and some more money :)

Man, those are both awesome.

Having grown weary of my pile, i have been lusting over a willy's or a wagon for some time now. I'd love an old old willy's CJ3something to just putt around the hills in, or a wagon for a camping vehicle.

some day I will find a way out of my heap and into one of the above!

A few years ago I had a 96 XJ. Bought it stock and turned it into this:

Sold it and regretted it ever since. Ended up with a 03 1500 Ram QCSB with a Hemi. Loved the truck but wouldn't take it on too many outings as I did not want to damage it. Guy comes along and is looking to trade his 99 XJ for a pickup to haul his bike. So after looking at it, he got a helluva deal and I came home with this:

99 XJ with a 4.5" Rubicon Express lift and 33s with 191K on the clock. Runs great rides and tracks well. Still need to go completely through it but in the end, I think I'm gonna be much happier. Will post more pics as I take them and look it over with a fine toothed comb.

Freaking perfect! What lift? Looks Great!

Thank you!

It's 4 inch Teraflex coils up front with 3 inch Teraflex outback coils in the rear. I then added a 1 inch spacer in the rear. I wanted Teraflex outback springs for the higher rating but they don't make them in 4 inch. The rear netted about 4.5 lift unloaded and settles to 4 or a hair under unloaded. I am very happy with it.
