Mods

WHEELS

Method Double Standards
-> 17x8.5 and painted dark machine gray

Method Double Standards (removed)
-> 18x9 and painted white with blue accents

TIRES

Mickey Thompson MTZ P3s
-> 40x13.5

Goodyear Wrangler MT/R w/ Kevlar (planned)
-> 42x14.5

BFGoodrich KM2s (removed)
-> My first set lasted over 40k miles!

PERFORMANCE

TRD supercharger
-> Got this installed a few months before Toyota announced they were discontinuing the supercharger program (even though they were always made by Magnusson).

TRD performance dual exhaust system

SDHQ secondary air injection pump
-> The stock location for the secondary intake is very exposed to offroad elements when abused. This kit helps relocate the intake to the engine bay.

DRIVETRAIN

Air locker (planned)
-> Going with an air-actuated locker for the rear differential

4.88 gears (planned)
-> Probably going to go with Nitro's ring and pinion for both differentials

Spidertrax wheel spacers
-> Adds 1.25" at each corner

SUSPENSION

BDS 7" bracket lift
-> Don't let the haters fool you. Bracket lifts can be very functional if you know how to use them to your advantage and what upgrades to make afterward.

Atlas 4.5" leaf packs
-> Expedition-style

ICON billet UCAs

ICON front coilovers
-> Large-lifted application variation with remote reservoirs and CDC valves

KING coilover springs
-> Rated at 800lb

ICON rear shocks
-> Large-lifted application variation with piggybacks and bypasses

Coachbuilder tie-rod ends
-> These help to correct some of the angles the bracket lift pushes on the steering rack

Coachbuilder +3 shackles (removed)
-> About 3" longer from bolt-to-bolt, which increases the rear height about 1.65"

Custom +5 shackles

Long-travel (planned)
-> Going with either Camburg or Total Chaos for a kit.

ARMOR

Relentless Fab front bumper
-> Defender version; steel

White Knuckle Off Road sliders
-> 3/16"-walled outer tube

BudBuilt gas tank skid
-> Made of 3/16" stainless steel; made to take a beating.

ARB rear diff breather
-> Relocated stock breather up behind taillight

SDHQ ABS skids
-> It's a small skid but protects a very important piece of your vehicle's modern electronic systems.

LIGHTING

Spyder projector headlights (black)

Spyder LED taillights (black)

4 x Rigid Industries Duallys

2 x Baja Designs Squadron XL Pro
-> Mounted on the A-pillar

6 x KC HiLiTES Daylighter (LEDs)
-> Mounted on the roof rack

EXTERIOR

Pro Comp flares
-> For the front fenders and rear bedsides; these require cutting a lot off of the stock sheet metal.

SDHQ A-pillar light mounts

RKSport ram air hood
-> Fiberglass construction with functional scoop and heat vents

EAG Viscious grill
-> Matte black; yea, it's a clone of the "Raptor" grill but I love the look.

COSMETIC

Debadged OEM chrome emblems

ELECTRICAL

sPOD
-> This wiring kit makes hooking up your accessories, which can be anything from lights to air lockers, a breeze while protecting your primary battery.

Artec battery tray

RECOVERY

ARB air compressor
-> Twin motor high-performance portable air compressor

Warn winch
-> ZEON Platinum 12k with synthetic line

TRED Pro

ARB static rope
-> 2-3/8" x 30' strap (17,500lbs capacity)

ARB tree saver
-> 3" x 10' strap (26,500lbs capacity)

SAFETY

Fire extinguisher

Drake Offroad extinguisher mount

STORAGE

ESP floor storage
-> The floor comes stock with a good amount of wasted space that is filled in with foam; thankfully, this storage system makes use of the wasted area.

Lock'er Down center console box

UTILITY

45-gallon auxiliary fuel tank
-> RDS (#71083); measures about 57" long, 8.5" wide, and 20" tall; gravity-fed

36" UWS storage chest

6 x removable eye-ring tie downs

4 x additional D-ring tie downs

Cooler/fridge tray (testing)
-> Replaced the short seat in the rear with this custom-built tray. It's extremely sturdy and bolts to the OEM seat mounts.

Custom bed rack
-> Aluminum material (~45lbs); built by Pelfreybilt

Gobi Ranger roof rack

Bed & tailgate Line-X'd

12-gallon water system (progress)

Dee Zee "heavyweight" bed mat

ACCESSORIES

Dometic CFX-65DZ
-> This dual-zone unit has plenty of room in both the freezer and fridge sections to keep us well-fed/hydrated for a week.

2 x Mob Armor magnetic phone mounts

MISCELLANEOUS

Inclinometer & tilt gauge
-> Honestly, this is one of the most useful little mods for any "overlander" out there with a RTT.
