In CO we spent a couple of days exploring in and around Ouray and Salida before heading home to NJ via the Interstate system. A non-operational fuel gauge finally caught up with us in Missouri. I'd been keeping track of milage with a notebook and pencil but one missed entry left us stranded (until AAA came to the rescue). Beyond that it was smooth sailing all the way home.

That is the original flare from years ago. It does blend in pretty well from some angles though.

Road trip from CO to Palm Springs via Mojave Desert, then home via Joshua tree, Flagstaff, and Bears Ears monument. Over Thanksgiving/my 50th B-day with my wife and 12yr old.

Just got it.. getting her ready for a 2 week snowboard trip! I’m calling it the millennial falcon lol.. ultra rare single owner 95 intervec falcon full factory self contained class b with the 7.3 powerstroke! Thing is a tank! Just put on some new BFG K02’s I already have plans on converting to 4wd next year! Original owner shipped it to Europe and toured for 2 years before shipping it back stateside! Yew

Last week. The 40 was our main transportation for about four days. The roads were terrible. Doing a pirouette in an ambulance on ice while sliding backwards down an ice covered hill isn’t a lot of fun.
At least this year it was on a 20’ wide road… unlike last year when it was an 8’ wide driveway with a ditch on one side and a frozen pond on the other.

Santa was good to me this year and got me a nice new toy to build (although more of a truck than a van)

The ambo is taking a well deserved break and sometime in 2023 might be looking for a new owner! Right now she acts as my man cave.
