I would imagine a picture of an incoming tsunami wave would just be a white line across the blue sea..

When I first saw the news this morning they said people were coming down to the docks see the wave(s)... Um... Gee... Tsunami definition is large wave that sucks people out to sea with no remorse... Darwin Award winner!

I do a lot of photography including some that is a little on the dangerous side - car accidents, fires, plane crashes, police and military actions, live fire, explosions, etc, etc. You would not believe the people that show up. I am most times with the emergency service people or have been briefed on what is up. Many times I am stepping back to stay safe and bystanders are getting closer and closer. I have watched as people have been pushed out of the danger zone that even the emergency people stay away from.

I love taking the pictures but do not think that any picture is worth a life.
