Payload anxiety..

Heres the solution, this Brazil Ford has a 6 ton payload, The Ford 4000.

The F-4000 was the base chassis, and was available in a range of versions using the diesel engines supplied by MWM Motores Diesel Ltda. Four-cylinder diesel units with direct injection were on the menu. How fast will a four-cylinder diesel haul 6 tons of cargo? Probably as fast as you want to go with 12,000 pounds on the deck.

I always thought those trucks in 3rd world countries, the ones that looked over loaded were over loaded... I never dreamed they were hauling legal loads.

They're overloaded still, but not by as much as we thought. :ROFLMAO:

What i'd like would be have that cab on a current 4x4 chassis.

It’s likely that they have respectable rear springs, axle and tires. Americans are obsessed with hp being the only criterion for heavy loads. Admittedly I don’t have any specifics re these vehicles. But IMHO hp is irrelevant.
Billiebob, apologies, I know you’re not from US.

Well get hot and build one, we'll all watch. Really, how much does a plasma cutter and welders cost at Harbor Fright? :)
