we started our trip from the town of san felipe ... to 2015 km from our destination ...
1st day ............. 29 January 19 hrs,,, crossed the chile capital southbound our country ... in search of km 0 of austral..rumbo road the patagonia ...

from this point ... Contao ... there are two ways to reach HORNOPIREN,,, place of shipment of the first stage of this journey
this road is an alternative to the main ... winding stone path that gives facing the Pacific Ocean,,, many places for free camping .... exposed to the wind but gives driving in rainy weather,,, it is also a reliable way,,,,
some fishing villages on the route,,, are selling their southern seafood,,,,,, caught salmon

from the apple creek to Hornopiren is fast ... the road is surrounded by vegetation and shows traces of ancient timber ...
Hornopirén ... all basic services ...

to board must be pre-booked .... in case you have to wait a couple of days to ship,,,

From this point the wonder of the place shows its face ............. ....... virgin route indomita
bimodal ferry system for a time of 6 hrs sail through the fjord of Leptepu .......
between the two points of embarkation there is only one way CONNECTING which should be traveled slowly .... avoid pack of hounds that make motorists more eager to move from one point to another to embark,,,,
after all everyone embarks ...

next arrival in the port town of Chaiten mythical ....

chaiten south of the park Queulat is .... the route passes through the main entrance ... in high season in January ... February very hard to find place for camping .... not bookable ...
or $ 10 per person daily value ... ... with basic facilities

a beautiful trail leads him to the gates of the park,,,
our walk was accompanied by a fun rain ... what made the landscape more beautiful ...
the main attraction is its hanging glacier Queulat ...
to reach the did a footpath surrounded by native vegetation,, 3.6 km.., pretty much mud and climb ups ...,, that left us breathless with several opportunities,,,
finally a great adventure and it was worth ...
the glacier is a feast for the eyes
