P0174 and Intermittent traction control light (2005 Montero LTD )

Hello everyone,

I am hoping someone could help me diagnose some issues have been experiencing lately. I have used my blue drive that I ordered to clear the codes but every stop that I make and go the light would come back on. Once in a while, I would get the P300 code for random misfire. I took it to my mechanic to check for a vacuum leak but he could not find any leaks. So I am lost what exactly is causing the engine light to come on with traction control lights. Anyone with knowledge on this type of issues please chime in.

Usually a small leak at the surge tank.

Gen 3 - p0171 and sometimes p0174 - possible fix

Has anyone tried this fix without removing the plenum? Looks like the roll pin is accessible.
