Overlanding during the Lockdown?

As someone who might have more miles by water on sailboats than on 4 wheels (so far), I feel like this time can be equated to the armchair navigating we do in the northeast all winter as we dream up expeditions and cruises. I am eager to work out some missing pieces on the Jeep, attend to some overdue projects and upgrades. We have stayed close, some day trips with a full tank of gas and all our food/water in order to minimize contact. I take the approach that we do this for others, not to protect ourselves. Besides- I am in NY and if I roll through some states with these plates on I think the guys in the ET suits will come out! I had been hoping for a Newfoundland/Labrador trip this summer- seems like a long road between now and then.
