Does anyone know if the Mercedes engine that was installed in the Series in this article would work well in a late model Disco? Is there another Mercedes Diesel that would work better? Or any other Diesel engine that would fit nicely and provide suitable power for the Disco? I looking for something that is proven and is available new today and that would remain in supply for years to come.

Any advice would be great.
