One more for today....F-250 to get MONSTER V-8 in 2020

My raptor has 4H, 4L, 2H, 4A (all wheel drive). Ford already uses this with their 10 speed transmissions. I think it is very possible it is going to carry over to the f250. Especially since they are getting the 10 speed tranny as well.

As far as I know ram or chevy are not capable of 4h, 4l, 2h, 4A in any 1500. The new HD may be an exception.

Chevy has had autotrac with auto 4WD for years in 1500's. I believe many levels of Ram 1500's have it. I think just the base Ram 1500's and the Rebels do not offer an auto 4x4 mode.

Yes my 16 Lariat 1500 has it and it’s as good as sliced cinnamon bread. Turn it on at the start of winter... no worries about the missus forgetting to turn on 4wd in snow. More confidence towing in rain... list goes on. Now it’s not perfect and often is slow to kick to AWD if it’s been chugging with no slip in rear wheel, but it’s pretty darn good. And I expect four years of programming have made it a lot smarter.

here’s hoping (fingers crossed) it is what they’ll offer.

My bosses Chevy 1500 has 4H, 4L, 2H, and 4A
My father in laws Chevy 2500 has the same
My wife’s Colorado ZR2 has the same

I don’t know about the new Rams.

I know a few trims of Ram 1500's have it. I think the only two that don't are the tradesman and Rebel. Not sure why the Rebel was excluded.
