In Switzerland they always show the 'new' price of a vehicle alongside the asking price when selling a 2nd hand vehicle as its needed for insurance purposes. Insurance is usually based on new price as they will payout to 'replace' the vehicle in the event vehicle stolen / destroyed etc. Eg: If you have a 10yr old BMW 330, if its stolen, you get the funds to replace the vehicle with the current model.

The truck in the ad was Euro 500k when new, now selling for Euro 100k. total BARGAIN if you ask me. the truck and camper module seperetly would be worth more than that!!
