Working on plans for the rear (storage drawer/ camp kitchen /Sleeping platform) for the 4runner. Drifta in AUS. has a nice setup here is the link DRIFTA CAMP KITCHEN We will have a storage drawer on one side then the chuck box/ camp kitchen on the other. Trying to learn google sketch for the plans, no luck yet. Show us your kitchens and what you would change after using them on the trail. :chef: Cheers

If Mrs. 1911 comes on the trip, it's this folding kitchen from REI:

If she doesn't come, then it's just my trusty 40-year-old Svea 123 backpack stove on a flat rock, with a small Action Packer to hold the stove, utensils, and (mostly dehydrated) food:

I would change my water setup and use a tank where I have the cubbie. It can be a pain pulling the 7gal of water out to setup the sleeping bags.

Depends upon how many people in the group, but this is how we usually roll ...

Packs down small ... plenty of work space ... and you can cook anywhere!

My portable field kitchen that I use for larger groups. Includes 4 burner stove, small chuck box with drop down work table, small double sink, fresh water and grey water tanks, extension table, 12 VDC lights, BBQ pit, and lots of storage.

The Iron Grill Table and Extension table have a carry bag that lays flat. All the legs store in a small zippered bag. The inserts all fit inside one Zarges Case along with our kitchen kit - utensils, pot and pans, bowls, canned goods, etc. While it looks big, we typically carry double this setup as well as tents, sleeping cot, chairs, etc in an FJ Cruiser! :)
