Oil Cooler Lines, ATF rating ok?

Original oil cooler rubber lines finally started to give out the last 6 months so I ordered some new ones off eBay. What came fits perfectly, but the hose carries a GM ATF rating. Is ATF interchangeable for engine oil lines?

I would think so. ATF is automatic transmission fluid, which can also be used as power steering fluid on some vehicles. They all get plenty hot, and under pressure, so I figure you are good to go. Note: I am only a YouTube Mechanic, and an uncertified one at that :)

I am also not a certified mechanic, but ATF lines should be rated for fuel/oil. Those should work without issues.

The only type of hose that I know you cannot use with any oil is silicone. It will absorb oil and can expand.
