2013 Adventure Trailers chassis with custom built cabin.
We have enjoyed this trailer for many adventures but as we get older, it’s harder for us to get in and out of it, so it’s time to pass it on to another offroad family. The trailer has been garage stored most of its life. We overbuilt the trailer with rugged roads and durability in mind, opting for a beefy suspension, minimal electrical system (12 volt with limited 110) and no plumbing. It has been used for the intended purpose, so it has some scratches, small dings etc, but everything works.
Chassis- Trailing arm air suspension with Rancho shocks- very durable, and adjustable. More air for the pavement, less for offroad. Long (4 feet-ish) tongue means plenty of room for a nose box (houses a new 100 amp AGM battery and small solar panel) plus many extras. The pictures show a black cargo box but it can be configureed many ways- firewood, grill, etc. We also have channels for a bike.
Hitch- designed for a military pintle/ lunette system, we also use a conventional 2” ball system for pure on road trips. The long tongue means maximum maneuverability.
Wheels/ tires- currently have Toyota 6 lugs hubs with Toyota rims and 33” tires (1 year old, no sun rot etc). Also have Jeek JK hubs for it.
Kitchen- 2 burner high quality Camp Chef 10k BTU burner with 10lb propane tank. Cooler slide with Yeti cooler*, large pots/pans drawer and smaller storage drawers all made from birch wood. Water system is 2 large Reliance water jugs. LED lighting.
Cabin- queen size bed, birch cabinets, exhaust fan, LED lighting. No heater needed, it sleeps warm in the winter- we have been out it in in weather in the mid teens and been fine.
Exterior cabin- finished in a thin aluminum shell. ARB awning* provides good shade and is very durable. Yakima cross bars* with A towers and long mount brackets anchor the awning.

To build this trailer today, the cost is at least $25k; SoCal Teardrops, Mobi and other name brand builders offer similar new trailers in the $30 to 40k range.
Located in St George UT … buy the trailer and come off-road/ camp/ explore while you’re here. Also willing to deliver as far as Vegas or Salt Lake for gas $ and a non-refundable deposit.
