I am going to use this thread to post up any parts dealers I find for the Monteros/Pajeros. Please post any OEM or aftermarket parts sources you have used and your experience with them. This way new users, or those who are having trouble finding a part can have a one stop list for parts and upgrades.

OK...may be someone can answer this, somewhat, off topic question. When I look at Idle Control Valves, the descrepencies in pricing is crazy. You can find them on Ebay from $40-$400! The price of one at your first link above is $340. Is this just because they are OEM, or is there some other reason?

BTW, your second link, no workie.

It seems to be reliant on the model and year. Others could be wholesale buys or salvage parts. Which montero are you looking for?

I really don't need one as of yet, I was just thinking about picking one up for a spare, as I have heard that these are a common failure item on these trucks. But to answer your question, I have a 1991 and all the ones I have been pricing are new in box.

The price difference is due to the quality of the product. The low priced parts are usually made using poor quality metal and manufacturing.
Perhaps you don't need your valves in OEM spec., but some parts are worth the extra money if your using your rig for remote area travel.
OEM parts are far superior to most inexpensive knock-offs.
