Well, to be fair, it's what the design world calls a rendering. It's only for the purpose of conceptualizing a mere idea. You'll see this type of artwork for architecture, too. (and I'm wondering when Photoshop became a verb)

Nevertheless, that concept is sending a shudder through the Defender-loving public. A beautiful, good thing might die.

Or why Toyota didn't give the US a plethora of cool vehicles and options either like solid axles and built-in beer coolers?

Why does Mercedes-Benz USA still brings in bling-outfitted vehicles when it has utilitarian options?

Why does Jeep sell cool options (like diesel) in non-NA markets?
