I'm making this build thread to help me keep track of my mods, as well as document the progression of my truck.

I named this thread my secondhand build, because almost every part has been used or purchased secondhand. This is how to afford to have multiple hobbies (MTB, Snowboarding, wheeling, etc etc)!

Dirtfest 2018 was a blast!

Rode 7 miles on Friday, and 17 miles on Sat. Drank too much beer and we couldn't ride Sunday Morning haha

I'm very pleased with the first camping trip of 2018! my organization / gear selection / packing was tested for sure.

Some things i'd change:

Pack at least some warm gear - it got colder than the forecast and my wool socks, sweatpants, and t shirt were not enough.
Invest in a more weatherproof tent - my costco instant tent is perfect for great weather, but not having a fly and having to cover it in a tarp is a tiny bit annoying, as it still got soaked where the tarp couldn't cover.
invest in 0 degree sleeping - again, costco coleman bags were great for general use, but with the weather and in anticipation of other trips these bags didn't cut it.
purchase an EZ up or awning - as the pictures will show, the EZ up was the foundation of our tent setup, and was crucial to staying dry this weekend. - an awning would be a great option, although i'm not sure you could tie tarps to it.
Better organization of dry food - fumbling around trying to grab the thing you just saw gets old

For this trip, I prepped the backseat:

And made some mounts to mount my waterport with my softopper:

Got to the tent site late, so had minimal space to share:

The trails were awesome, even in the rain:

Some bracing that was about a dollar a peice at Lowes. Waterport makes a plate now, but I didn't have time before a trip to wait, and also I didn't want to pay the money for it.
Sweet thanks. I don't have the bed tracks in my truck so trying to figure something similar out.

what year is the truck?

auto or manual?

2006 sr5 auto with 210k on her! I drive a lot for work lol

I bought her with 157k 2 years ago, but with a new frame and LCA's and a slew of parts that were new.

DD mod is coming up at the end of this month!

well new wheel and tire set up! Stock steel wheels on 285/75r16 general AT2's

dropped a bunch of weight, at least 10 lbs per corner, and boy does this thing drive nice now! Hardly have to press on the pedal to go (confirmed by monitoring load on scanguage)
