newbie building a trailer

hello all i am new to the forum and am out of new mexico, i am building my first camping trailer. i have a box now and waiting for the axle to come in. i am now trying to decide what material to cap my lid and the weather stipping for the lid and tailgate. i just ordered the the tail lights and a couple of lights to light up the inside. the jack is in the garage waiting to be welded. well here are some random pics of the build so far.

Don't know answer to your questions... but the trailer is looking good.

i guess it had been awhile..... well got the trailer finished and got very busy afterwards that i never got back to update. . I did get the same lug pattern as the rig i was going to build but that did not work out. so now i have gone another way and might just buy a small travel trailer as the wife wants a bathroom (toilet) so with that I need to sell the finished trailer for a down payment... so this is the finished product:

ended up going with torsion axles with BFGs
pintle hook
spray on liner in and out (color is not exactly what i wanted)
