think im going to a 99 4runner. 5spd.4wd,3.4
it belongs to a friend and im supposed to buy from him this weekend. the truck sits 1.5-2" higher in back. the springs in back are silver, doesnt seem normal to me, was like that when he bought it. he seems to thing someone put front landcruiser springs in the back, could it be? doesnt ride harsh.
now if i want to level it out, whats the best way to get a 1.5-2" lift in the front. ive seen the bilstein/coil kits for around $400. are they good? worth it? something better or just as good but more economical? just need a couple of inches, no hardcore wheeling type stuff. going to mount the 235-85-16 tires i just bought for my range rover. coming from 10 years in a range rover classic, (which is for sale...) so something on the soft side is ok. looking for 4runner advice..thanks
