A year ago we looked at the SoCal teardrops in hopes of getting one to pull behind our Jeep JK. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make it happen at the time, until now. During a recent trip I happened upon an ad for a used 2010 Cal-Deluxe. A little negotiations, and now it's ours.

There were a few upgrades the original owners did, like 16" wheels (giving it about 17-18" of clearance), front storage box, gas and water carrier, and a rack system. I've changed out the Thule rack with a Yakima rack I already had, as well as, a larger Yakima storage box. I also changed out the basic Kenwood stereo they had installed with an upgraded one which has a front USB connection and a Sirius antenna for satellite radio. There are a few things we have scheduled - like to upgrade the galley and an ARB refrigerator.
