Yes, the tanks are making km's...no leacks and the temps after 200 highway km are betwen 40-45 degrees, on a 30 C° deegres sunny day, it is still hot here in Spain, the fuel comsuption is related whit the gearing, now At 90 km /h the truck is at 1950 rpm, so its low and more important is on the max torque área, so the smallest specific comsuption , on mud roads it is another history, it is first time I use the truck on offroad tracks during long time and I remenber about my Toyota kz73.....but at all the truck is very confortable in this ways, any info you need , let me know

I've just started researching water level sensor options for our mog. I was considering one of the external mounted surface gauges (like SeeLevel), but theses Votronic gauges look pretty nice.

We don't have a probe mount hole on the top surface of our tank. The probe hole is at the top of one of the sides. Do you think that we could bend these probes at a 90 degree angle and have the probe mounted to the top side of the tank?

Thanks,
Michael

Sorry to hyjack the thread Jostt, i've enjoyed reading your thread.

You can't go wrong with the Votronic range, they make some nice gear i ended up with the Triple charger, Jupiter panel, their switches and 1200 watt inverter

Im not sure able being able to bend the gauge, I've got a spare one at the work shop i can look at when i head back to the workshop on monday

Hello, thanks for the info wyuna, the proves I use are from two types, the long one is a soft prove whit com conexión in the bottom, its mind, the probé has one flexi cable inside the thank , and another cable goes out and you have a hole un the bottom where is comected the com, whit a special rubber nut, It works, do you can cut the probé for your tank stroke and you have a potenciometer on the sensor , to calibrate It, these probé goes betwen110 mm to 20 mm , for sure you can fit 90 degres..the second type has no com external, and you have on the prove tho rigid tubes, this type is for shorter strokes and the reason I use like this is because the fresh Walter tank is plastic and the Grey thank water is stainless steel, I try to do some pics

I LOVE It...but It is not for toast the Bread in the breakfast, you need some pacience, It takes 10/15 min to be really Hot, after It is very usefull and you forget about gas, It was my plan, the cost here in Europe is 1200 euros, What is not cheap but, when you are installing you understand why,it is a good machine.

We have a 18 Bar system in our truck, and I just got a MANN TB 1374/4 1703 cartridge. You might want to check the spec sheet for the cartridge, but I think it removes some oil as well as water. I think the 18 Bar dryers have a larger (M42x1.5) thread on the cartridge than the lower pressure dryers.

Your winch looks very nice enclosed in the bumper like that. The winch on our truck is mounted on the front of the bumper and looks a little odd.
