Wondering how you guys are liking this set up a few years out? BROG now also makes a 4Runner Attic thats 28''x35 vs the LC 36x24. Wondering if that might be a better fit for the 3rd moonroof?

Similar concept to the Mantec, I opted to go with the Xanadoo XBB Upper Boot Basket for my soft goods storage like the one shown below from Overland Adventure Products in the UK.

At $260USD, that's not a bad deal for a great bolt in product. Too bad shipping to the US will be another 50-75 dead presidents. I do like these overhead storage designs and have fabrication ideas on the dirty laundry list!

sorry for necro-ing a year-old post but I have one question: How did you mount the basket on the supports? Is it supposed to come from the rear seats towards the rear of the car, sliding on the two brackets?

I believe that it's mounted to the over head handle mounts in the 3rd row.
