In the past, the usual answer I have seen is that cab removal is not required for engine/transmission work/replacement but cab removal is the preferred approach when possible due to ease of doing the work and reduced overall repair cost.
That's what I heard also. And as usual, if you can afford one, what's another $2,000 in a repair bill? Ha.

More than a few with either "tech" money or taking advantage of cashing out of home equity in places like CA.
I would say there is a larger market for high end expedition vehicles than for private jets - and Gulfstream alone sells 150+ a year of those. :)

Personally I'll take a private jet any day over an any expedition vehicle.
