We put the nokian outpost ATP on my wife’s rav4 last year. They have been an excellent tire. Just about as quiet as the oem all weather tire and much better traction and winter driving. We mostly drive her car to ski this last winter and it was never a problem, even in a massive blizzard. Now i am looking at getting the outpost nAT for my truck. I currently have duratracks with about half the life left (~20k miles on them), so I’m not in a hurry. I do wish I knew how tough these tires are for desert driving as well. I’ve yet to hear a report on desert crawling. I guess i will have to find out.
