Here are some pictures of the Bush Company 270. It is very strong and you could do pull-ups on it.

Due to the hatch raising up on the back I had to use the high mount option. You can mount it lower if that will work for you. The brackets give you either option.

Ovs nomadic. I can’t get it super tight for some reason. They don’t recommend leaving it without poles longer than setup, but poles take only a second to setup since they are attached to the brackets. If we are only stopping for a bit I wouldn’t hesitate to go poleless provided thrrrs no wind.

bummer, wonder why you can't pull the rear straps tightly? Show us some pics of both straps mounting solutions pls.

Some updates.

Howling Moon's US distributor is Sierra Expeditions had claimed the 270 awning was on the way. I have been trying to contact them for about 10 days. No one has answered the phone. I don't know if he is still in business.

The Bush Company looks interesting to me but wish a larger size was available. Here is a link to a US supplier. https://lynxoutdoorusa.com/collections/awnings/products/270-xt-awning-2-3m-left .
The video claims to have an optional wall set but i can't find proof of it, they just allude to the velcro being used to attach it. Here is a link to the South African manufacturer's website: https://www.thebushcompanyusa.com/

For the Bush Company one the guys at Southern Expeditions were great to work with. Really works well with their tent and which you can mount a lot of different things on.

I really want/need a wall setup. Where i live and spend time any awning would be used more often for rain wind or snow than sun.

I am not falling for "velcro on the awning to attach walls" sales pitch. I want to see pics of the wall and a show that is in stock before I order an awning. To me the fact they used velcro for the attachment is a bit of a fail. I like the fact the awning is so strong I could dance onto of it. But If there are no poles offered and only velcro for attachment makes me wonder what the walls would look like.

I have been in communication with a US supplier of the Bush Company. I can confirm the walls will either have to be custom made in the South Africa's manufacturing site and shipped or you will have to get walls custom made on your own.

Ovs sells walls for their 270. Quite expensive for what it is though. They use zippers.

Call
DERRICK OURSLER with Southern Xpeditions and see if he has any options for you on the Bush Company one. He is a really good guy and will try to lead you in the right direction if that is your only issue with the product.
