need help setting up roof top tent

not sure how much I would like using a roof top tent, I went for a more moderately priced option. i'll give it a try this weekend and report back:

Maybe that one is silly, but a portable shelter doesn't seem like such a bad idea when your car is caught in the work parking lot during a hail storm.

The Ft. Collins - Denver - Colorado Springs region is good for 3 or 4 major hail storms a year like that.

This thing is more for protecting your vehicle (shade) or if you had a convertible or maybe a pickup, IMHO. That's the only use I could see it being of much value camping. And as much as the the guy demo-ing it claimed it was not affected by wind after being tied down.......lol.....guess again! Some good 35+ mph gusts would make mincemeat out of it. The powered deploying and retracting should be a real novelty to some, though. :rolleyes:
