Looks like a cheaper alternative to the Goal Zero, anybody have any experience with them?

Just an FYI, the inverter that is used in that kit uses a modified sine wave(MSW). While this is generally not a big deal for some electronics, other's typically don't run to well on it. Pure sine wave (or True sine wave) inverters are better. You can do a search for electronics that don't perform well or at all on modified sine wave inverters, but to give an idea, a TV running on a modified sine wave will most likely be fuzzy. If that doesn't bother you and this is used for emergency power backup, then it won't matter. With that said, there are some electronic devices that will simply not run on modified sine wave. It's also worth noting that things powered from wall warts tend to burn up when using a MSW over time.
