The problem is that too many people show no respect for the land and damage it by going off trail and throwing trash everywhere. Look at how much trash Jerry has picked up and packed out over the years. If the abuse of public land continues eventually there won't be much public land available to use.

). I enjoy the solitude, the scenery and every tug at the other end of my line. It frustrates me to no end how people trash our resources! I see it in the places I fish, the mountain trails I drive my Jeep on, hiking paths, city parks, and the list goes on!
Rarely do I ever see anyone picking up someone else's mess, unless it is an organized event. I do it not only because I hate the look of it, but for my daughter's generation and those that follow. I feel like my generation has failed theirs!
