I'd like to see more of your farm and food. Very nicely done video.

Thanks again Wainiha! Here's the link to our Twitter media page; just scroll down through the pictures; twitter.com/msoverland/media. We have some still shots of the hoop house, the raised beds and an aerial shot of part of the farm.

Also, Eric may have more pictures on his website; he's a wealth of knowledge and a truly amzing person bethlehemfarm.net.

Episode 1 was our first go at this. We plan to capture more of the details in our next project so we can share more pictures while we work on the video production.

Very nice video indeed! Are there more in the works?

Thanks Fireball - Absolutely! We plan to produce 8-10 episodes during 2014. We're filming Episode 2 in a few weeks and plan to roll out the video by the end of February. Also, we've got our concept down for Episode 3; and Episode 4 is just a vision at this point. We've got some pretty cool places to go and people to show you, so pull up a chair!

Rhino Rack Sunseeker 2.5M Awning

We opted for the Rhino Rack Sunseeker 2.5M Awning after countless hours researching on the internet. It comes with various accessories and we added the Awning Extension for some extra square footage. We'll post some shots of the Sunnseeker and Extension set up on Twitter soon. Unfortunately, the packaged was damaged en route and delivered missing the mounting hardware. Thankfully, persistence over the holidays resulted in new parts.

We had to make some adjustments to mounting because the parts delivered were slightly different from what was supposed to be included per the parts list. We pieced together what was shipped and dug out some old Yakima parts to put it all together.

For the full install and detailed pictures, visit the Mountain State Overland blog.

Had a slight problem with the awning after rolling it out for the first time but fortunately Rhino Rack USA stepped in made customer service a top priority!

I'm enjoying what you guys are doing with MSO! As a Virginia native that spends a decent amount of time outdoors on the trail and camping in WV I appreciate you exposing more culture and places there. Maybe our paths will cross.

Killer, thanks for the props Jonese. Want to meet up for a future film? Hell, being a VA native we're sure to share some +quality tales/places in Appalachia. Give us a shout (mountainstateoverland@gmail.com) and lets see if we can't figure out a way to work you into a future trip. To us, its all about about sharing the experience and supporting the environment we explore.

Episode 3 was spent winter camping at Whitegrass Ski Touring Center in Canaan Valley, WV; it was so epic! Single digit overnight temps, way negative wind chills and +10" of snow fall in two days. Let's make it happen! Here's some shots to look for in Episode 3 -

Great series so far, I am definitely interesting in future videos exploring this area, as I plan to spend a week in Monongahela Forest area later this summer, so hopefully I can get some ideas of places to go and things to see!

Unfortunate to hear about the awning, it looks like the same nut wore through ever layer of the awning that was wrapped around it?
