Me too. I would love to get into that as a hobby!I really feel like I need one of those axes you're refurbishing.

I did all of it. Clean the rust off, clean up the poll if its damaged and fitting the handle as well as sharpeningI've been interested in bushcraft hobbies lately, so those axes seem really neat. How involved have you gotten in the refurb of them?
Very very neat! I've picked up a couple over the years, maybe a little restoration would be nice. Must feel nice to work on something and then reap the benefits even in tool form.I did all of it. Clean the rust off, clean up the poll if its damaged and fitting the handle as well as sharpening
Very rewarding, my job has a nice mix of field work and desk work but none of it involves creating something like this. So it is a nice outlet.Very very neat! I will, I didn't do much for MAOF but I will attempt a full trip report for this onePlease post pictures and a good write up. I would love to go to that rally some day.
Lots to do out this way!Glad to see you're still alive! Looks like you had an excellent trip. I need to do more exploring in the upper right US.
It is, although it turns out the passenger exhaust manifold completely broke off, so its getting fixed as we speak.x2...gorgeous foliage, and good to see the Xterra keeps on truck'n.
