Literally no room to spare. Not even 1/16” inch. Has 1/2” polyiso on the sides. And 2-2.5” polyiso top and bottom depending on which fridge. I wrapped the cut ends of the polyiso with reflective tape. To make it look good and to keep from bits of polyiso falling crumbling out. Really hoping all this work makes the two Dometic CRX-50 work less and draw way less amps.

Hopefully they will be more efficient.

All your tidy wiring reminds me that I still need to wire mine in properly. I focused on modifying the cabinets to make it fit in... and haven’t got to wiring it in properly.

Long day. Several mistakes. But its finishing up nicely. Was a major major pain for me to line up the piano hinge correctly. Given the large middle storage area is 36-1/2”x 36”x 30”x29”. Since each side is different. Getting tolerances all around was a wacky game. The vans prexisting bench and side cabinet all are different as its built in to fit the van like a glove.

Middle storage will keep the four Group 31 AMGs happy and out of weather extremes.

Lots of parts arriving. 2000 Watts
Krieger modified sine converter. Nice because it uncludes ANL fuse. 3 feet of 2awg wire. And a remote on off switch for $189.

Bunch of Noico stuff. 36sq feet of butyl, 36 sq feet of 170mil green backed closed cell foam. A cool roller. Gonna be for some metal sheets and other stuff for interior panels. Comfy the place up.

A big roll of sml600 thinsulate 1-3/4” came. Needed more!!

Some ultra heavy duty marine plex red hot blue cold water lines arrived, 1/2”.

Back up camera is great for city parking and you can also monitor a tow or someone being weird behind your rig. Since you control on and off and has infrared night pickups

8 scanstrut fittings. 2 for each solar panel. Water tight compression. May or may not need them all but hell. I hate being in a project only to find you cant finish due to lack of parts or screws or nuts or wood.

Enjoying your build.
I have the same inverter, 1100W version, and i like it so far. It can power the 700w microwave without issues and does well with a dorm fridge. I guess the "modified wave" is fairly decent. I got 1 awg jumper cables (copper coated aluminum) to hook up the main battery to the house batteries an the inverter. I haven't hook up the remote switch, but that was also a big plus for me.

Hey Raul. Thanks man. So yea awesome. You like yours? And it runs a microwave!? Cool. Ive never owned an inverter actually. I was looking at Xantrex and all of them. And well seemed like a great value for the price. Not sure if Ill have a microwave in my rig or not. But needs to run a blender and Ill probably use an induction cooktop and an electric kettle gizmo for hot water for tea and coffee. I figured the 2000w version would suffice. Their 3000w which is the next one up is much larger. So lets see what happens?

It fits. After cutting about 1/16 an inch on the ends of the cross support beams. Its the original stainless steel cover.

It lines up with the original mounting holes. I should have had this mounted the whole time to allow for clearance.

I also had to remove both flip up lids I made. The stainless steel rounded corner came out an extra 1/16” up into them. So to allow for proper seating of the two panels. Well that cost me another hour or so. But everything is fit clean and nice.

The rear bed and storage platform is finally done!! Yes! Now just finishing trim. Im staying consistent with my 2” spacing of #8 1-1/4” screws. I like how it looks. Has 4 solid maple support beams under the rear fixed panel for the bed area. That way you can sit on it. Or use it as a step for whatever reason. Or grab the underside as a pull stepping up off the back step. Seems good to me!

I bought some really nice 9 ply 1/2” plywood. 17$ for 2’x4’. Solid stuff! I made my very first box. Its 4”x13x20-3/16” essentially. I bought a 14” soft close slide. Oh and used 1/2” for the drawer bottom. All with Kreg 1” pocket screws. Its solid!!

Removed the toe kick fascia board. This will be a tow kick drawer box. Ill be making two more for the 15” cabinets. This is the 24” cabinet. Cant go any deeper because of the wheel well and Thinsulate behind.

Toe kick drawer installed and working! I will be making two other toe kick drawers for the two 15” base cabinets. But Im glad this one worked out. Used soft close slides to help them stay shut while driving. But im sure they will all get a latch of some kind.

My workshop this evening. The store behind where I work is closing this fall. Its all storage. Also new owners of the property, hence the dirt out back. Its all being redone. Its progress I suppose. But when its your hometown and someone with a bank roll steam rolls in, its bittersweet I suppose. All the construction guys have been so amazingly cool and helpful to me and this project. Surprisingly supportive. I cant say enough good things about them.

Toe kick drawers for the two 15” cabinets. Photo of the box looks great huh. But the 1/2” drawer bottom unfortunately I cut 1/16” an inch too narrow. Since its width. It must be redone or the soft close slides will not work well. The outside square is a perfect 16x11-1/2”.

spare storage room. 1 vmax 135 amp battery, Krieger 2000 watt modified sine inverter kit. Runs the AC, watts show 374 ish. Charged my iphone. Charged my Braun shaver. Ran the electric heater, that showed 1600 watts. Ran the Magic Bullet blender and showed 600 watts. The only thing Im curious about, will it run an induction cooktop....?

Possible colors for interior coverings. Its marine canvas stuff. I like how Outside Van covers the panels in closed cell foam then lays a fabric over it. Not sure if tweed they use is good for avoiding odors or what have you. But anyways.

Sketch work.

Support and install for the two 15” cabinets each getting their own toe kick drawer assembly on soft close slides. Very time consuming but worth it for storage space in the long run.

Modified sine inverter 2000W will NOT run an induction cooktop. But the 0.5liter water heater gizmo works great!!
