But this is the only FG that is forsale in the Philippines where I live.

Here in the Philippines, I have not seen an offroad or expedition enthusiast that used these light commercial trucks. Only used by vegetable haulers from mountain provinces.

The new option should be awesome. The manual transmission and low range are key. In the US they now only have automatic and no low range making them somewhat less desireable.

Can anyone account for the low listed top speed? 91kph or 56mph? That's considerably lower than a US version with a similar engine. Are the differentials geared lower? Don't know what your driving is like in the Phillipines but for us in the USA, a 56mph top speed would be deal breaker for highway travel.
