A 10 litre Scepter water can was a perfect fit for the fold down shelf.

Mike, thanks for the info. I appreciate your expertise. I’m ordering one tonight.

LOL, Beastie didn’t come with running lights. Wouldn’t mind having them though.

I spent the afternoon Friday washing and cleaning up Dusty my T4R and Beastie. So, of corse, it rained buckets yesterday. This afternoon I partially installed my Icom IC7300 HF/VHF/UHF radio in Dusty. I mounted the radio, an Icom speaker, and a Turbo-Tuner II on a Victory 4X4 Molle setup that covers up the driver’s side rear window. Will try to get some pics up soon. It’s raining again! I still have got to get the head unit and antennas mounted.

Trailers have to have lights by law. The trailer lights don't turn on when you turn on the tailights? headlight?

Yes of course. What I thought you were referring to was the set of lights above your rear door. Those I don’t have.

What I did to help with visibility was mount a pick up truck LED tailgate light to the roof rack. That gives me high mounted tail, brake and turn signals.

Kinda hard to see the taillights in the daylight.

Some pictures from a recent weekend trip in New Mexico. We drove a total of 175 miles of dirt roads.

Mike, now you are making me really envious! Tommorrow night it will be 27 deg. here. The high by the weekend will be in the low 30's with snow on Friday night/Sat. a.m. Our long term forecast is for a cold, snowy winter. My short term "off roading" will be with our snowblower.

The Australian trailer trolley finally showed up. I'll be grinding off the original mount on the driver's side of Beastie and mounting it there. I have a neighbor who is a mechanical whiz who will be helping me. Photos to come.

Why not just put it on the opposite side . Much less work.

Some people like to work harder than smarter. haha I have only used the wheeled jack one otherwise it is the other jack . Throw a couple of 2x4's underneath and I am up and out of the pintle . I only unhook if I'm staying in one place for a while and will be driving around.
