I’d be grateful for a bit of advice – I’m thinking of selling my overland campervan. It’s RHD and UK registered. The vehicle is very good mechanically with near perfect bodywork; it’s fully fitted and ready to go for a serious trip. It’s been stored in a barn for a couple of years since my wife passed. The problem is the inside is looking a bit tired and dated. Should I invest a couple of thousand having it tarted up cosmetically (lining replaced etc.)? As you guys know this is a pretty specialist vehicle – where would you advertise it? I’m not sure I could put up with a stream of eBay tyre kickers thinking it was a VW camper! Many thanks.

What year is it? It would seem that considering RHD Australia/NZ and South Africa are obvious. Canada has a 15 year import rule so if I am right and it has the Euro 2/3 904LA motor that would be ok also if they can put up with RHD. USA is 25 years for non-homologated vehicles very unfortunately.
You do reach some people in those areas through this site. Mobile.de is looked at by many. Then there’s expedition vehicle broker sites that likely charge a commission.
How many miles? I know it has at least a rear diff lock. Curious about tire size.

Canada has a 15 year import rule (...). USA is 25 years for non-homologated vehicles very unfortunately.

Can you explain what you mean by this?

I'm looking to buy a 1994 Vario DA 4x4 in my country (Belgium. After conversion to camper, I would like to ship it to Canada/USA to travel over there (travel 4 weeks, leave the vehicle, and return the next year to continue the trip). Would this be possible?

The 15 and 25 year rules are for permanent import. It will not affect you, enjoy your trip.
Leaving the vehicle may be an issue, I believe you only get a 1 year TIP in USA and Canada, please confirm with a government source.
