Looking for parts stateside!!!! Need hoodsticks!

Hey there,
I'm trying to find and acquire hoodsticks for my 101 forward control. I'd like to get them stateside as shipping from jolly ol England costs an arm and a leg. My next best bet will be to have to make them, but if I can even get someone's ol spare set that would be much easier and better. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

I presume you are talking about gas struts. Aftermarket struts, balls and sockets are available. It would help if you knew the extended length of the originals, the body length and the force. Once you have all of that information getting replacements should be simple. If you are talking about something else a more comprehensive description and pictures would help.
