does anyone have any experience with abandoned cabins? my adventures usually involve backpacking, 4x4 trails, or ghost hunting (which i haven’t had any luck so i can’t say i believe). i want to try something new. any ideas?

edit: this is what sparked my interest

There are first come first serve cabins in the Kofa NWR in Arizona. They’re not abandoned though. Here are some photos that I took.

I was there the last couple of days.

Brought my own house

Sat on the porch in the rain and read the cabins history.

All the walls lift making a open screened house, very cool and still operable. The roof did leak a little in the last one but the other two did not leak at all.
