Looking for a mechanic recommendation in the Los Angeles area

Looking for someone experienced with Mitsubishi/Montero engines to do an overhaul similar to this:

I have the same problem (blue smoke, likely need new valve stem seals), and this work is outside of my capabilities. I am in the Los Angeles area. Thank You

What are of LA are you in?

I've done he valve seal job. It isn't that bad, just time consuming. That being he case, be ready to shell out a couple of grand for the work

1989 3.0L V6 Valve Seal Replacement

nkwltn is right. Its not all that hard but yes it is time consuming. I realize we have different vehicles (and different engines) but this will give you a good idea of what you should expect. This was my project back in April of 2014. It was performed on my 1989 Dodge Raider with the 3.0L engine. You may find this useful.
