Great report on a quick 3 day trip....really shows how you don't have to make some multi-week outing to have a great time.
These are the kinds of trips we can all manage even with high fuel cost.

Looks like a good time and I have always wanted to visit Death Valley, thanks for more inspiration!
The hot springs sound really nice after a hike.

Nope, but I will in two+ weeks after we return from a trip east (flying).
