I have a Ikea bed frame that I modified for our first bed setup. It is shortened (73.5" long) and lifted (20" of clearance underneath, big totes are ~17.5" tall), original full size width (56.25"). This fits a full size mattress with no frame sticking out of the ends.
You would probably want to buy the accompanying Ikea slats and some kind of mattress. We re-used the slats and Ikea mattress in our permanent bed setup. The slats make for a nicely compliant bed, but you could throw some ply in there I suppose.
Would fit most any (large) van.
Held 300lbs (me and my wife) for many nights sleep... and >200lbs of kids bouncing on it down 4x4 trails. Pretty stout for being light weight. And, hey - it's free!
