Finally starting to look like a proper truck and I got my driving lights dialed in. The DENALI D7's are soooooo good!

Anyone have a line on a factory hitch for a 2017 460? I've found them online for around $250 but they want $350 for shipping. No thanks.

I'd buy one used if anyone has one they took off during a bumper installation.

I picked up my ‘11 back in January with 77k on it after nearly a year long search for the Peridot mica with Sepia interior combo. Just recently installed the BP51s, airlift 1000 kit, Eimkeith PCK, and some loaner wheels and tires from my dad’s tundra while I wait on my wheels to show up. Having never owned anything from the past two decades, this thing continually amazes me, and honestly I think it is the best used vehicle for the money on the market.

Hey there, welcome to the GX Club. I remember you from my '92 FJ80 and the rear tire swingout I bought from you quite a while back.

Great looking rig.....Cheers!

I am not sure were you loomed for your hitch but there are lots of sources that dont charge freight. Uhaul, Summit Racing would be my top choices to look at. I have ordered hitches off Amazon also and found some pretty good deals.
Good luck and search around.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the ARB skid plate set covers enough to provide a deterrence to a catalytic converter theft? Or do I need to go with a cat-specific setup?

I recently installed and can confirm that it DOES NOT cover the cat converter. Doesn't go further back than then middle transfer case. Have a decent video of it here that you can see for confirmation:

Hello - wanted to formally introduce myself. I have been building out my Lexus GX460 overland rig for the past two years now. It's my daily driver 95% of the time so I wanted to keep things in check. Needed to fit in my garage at home and at work. Needed to be able to easily cruise at highway speeds (which in Texas means up to 85 mph legally). And needed to look semi-respectable for taking business clients out for lunch/dinner. All that is to say... I kept it pretty stealth in design. It's not the wildest overland rig out there but it works really well for what I use it for - daily driving, highly capable for offroad trips. Would love to hear your thoughts.... if you have any questions about the stuff on it the full build list is here: http://txgxoverland.com/lexus-gx-overland-build/. I really enjoy helping others get into overlanding and the GX and Jeep platforms so ask if you have any questions. Thanks for a forum where we can share!
