Lets see some full size pictures...

West slope, N. Ser. Nev.
That's sad to hear. At least, over time the G-56 will be harder to steal. I'm still liking my NV-5600, although they are a real anachronism now. 18 years and 176K miles and it's still hanging in there. What's the secret to its success? Cast iron, baby. No deflection here. 360 pounds dripping wet. I think the heavy weight was its eventual downfall.

Hey there... Some pics of my cowboy cadillac. Its my commuter/hunting rig/ranch truck/hauler/race truck.. haha

Built a turbo for it, 5" exhaust, B&W GN Hitch, HSP Y Bridge and intercooler piping, lift pump, tuned, manifolds/up pipes/down pipe, 35"s, 4.56 gears, Fox 2.0 shocks (for now), 1 piece drive shaft, and a bunch of other crap I forget.

Currently running 35x12.50r17 tires, debating going to a 37x12.50r17, or a 305/70r18, or tall and skinny like a 285/75r18.

When I bought it...

This is my 1993 H1, it had a Duramax and a 6 speed allison installed by Predator Inc. Hummers are fun, but 400 hp hummers are a lot more fun!

Its been a blast with the roof top tent. I am starting a new adventure rig with an LMTV so this one is going for sale on ebay tonight 1/24/19 if anyone of you wants to take it for an adventure.

First post. Been lurking a while. SO many great ideas I've gotten from this forum. Thank you all for sharing!

Will be putting together a build thread soon when I can get my pictures organized. Still very much a work in progress. Shooting her smoke gray very shortly. Planning on her being my very mobile retirement "Tiny House" at some point. :)

She is a 1988 Kodiak 70 Series with a turbocharged Caterpillar 3208 diesel, 130,000 original miles. Primitive; no electronics, no DEF. Easy to work on. Lots of life left in her. Maybe Alaska? Then Costa Rica? Who knows?

Thanks, ROCKY
